QPro is a browser-based, point-of-sale cloud flooring software that streamlines inventory, invoices, POs, B2B transfers, job costing, sales tax reporting, billing, and more. Its user-friendly interface and easy mobility makes it one of the best flooring and home furnishing software systems out there.
Learn moreQPro cloud software is ideal for small businesses that are in the floor-covering, home furnishings, and home improvement industries. If you are a larger operation looking for a comprehensive ERP solution, we recommend you check out QFloors.
Unlike QFloors, QPro was originally designed to work within a web browser. Overall, it has a more modern look, feel, and user experience. QFloors was originally designed as software that can be installed on a computer, and although nowadays you can use QFloors in the cloud, it requires extra hosting technologies and fees (similar to other flooring software in the industry).
Keep in mind that QPro does not have the same accounting features that QFloors has, although it can be used in conjunction with off-the-shelf accounting software if desired. Because QPro doesn't have as many features as QFloors, it has a lower cost and is ideal for smaller businesses. View a chart that compares our different products here.
In the future, we will be adding more features (including accounting capabilities) to QPro. If you find there are features missing from QPro that you really want, there's a good chance it might be included in our QFloors system. If you aren't sure which flooring product would be best for your operation, please reach out to us.
QPro is one of the most affordable cloud flooring software systems out there. You'll pay a one-time setup and implementation fee (based on the number of users you have), and then will choose either an annual subscription of $55 per user/month (paid annually), or a monthly subscription of $65 per user/month (paid monthly). There are no other fees you need to worry about! As long as your subscription is active, you'll receive the latest updates and features, along with our unrivaled customer support.

No. Because QPro uses the latest cloud technology, you need an internet connection and browser to access the software. We live in a world where the internet is becoming more and more accessible, so this should rarely be an issue.
This is much less of an issue than it used to be. However, internet outages still occasionally occur, and if that happens, there are several options. First, most people using QPro (and most businesses in general) have a backup internet service. So if the internet goes out, their backup kicks in. It is not very expensive to have a backup service. If you don't, most people have hotspots on their smartphones, and you can hook up your various devices through that, if your business internet goes out. And for those few who do not have hotspots on their phones, you can still use QPro from the internet on your phone when an outage occurs. Worst case scenario, you can go to a location (home, Starbucks, library, etc.) that has a working internet connection.
The short answer: YES (as long as it has an internet browser).
The long answer: QPro can work on a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone (as long as there is an internet connection and browser). It is compatible with both Windows and Apple products. However, we recommend that you use a device with a screen that's at least 7 inches. (Smaller screen sizes require more scrolling and thus can be a bit more cumbersome to use.) Currently, QPro works best on Google Chrome and we recommend you use that browser.
Yes, QPro works for stores with multiple locations. And it is very scalable. As your business grows, it's easy to add more QPro users, and you avoid many of the IT expansion costs that would be involved with other types of systems. Another benefit is that development with QPro is ongoing, and so the software is continually growing in features and capabilities (at no added cost to you). QPro is a great solution that will evolve over time with your business. Currently, QPro is mainly a point-of-sale and inventory management program, so if you have a larger operation and more expansive needs, we recommend looking at more comprehensive software solutions.
Yes! As with all software programs, there is a learning curve. However, unlike other flooring business management (ERP) software systems, QPro only has a few screens that you need to learn. Additionally, QPro has an extremely user-friendly interface with drag and drop functionality. You can easily expand, collapse, and move components, and even group certain items together. This floor covering software can be used by anyone - even if you aren't considered “tech-savvy.” All in all, QPro software is easy to learn, easy to use, and very intuitive.
Book guided demoQPro founders Chad and Trent Ogden are 3rd generation flooring experts and understand the specific needs that are in this niche industry. In 1999 they created QFloors, an ERP flooring software that has benefited tens of thousands of flooring professionals in the U.S. and Canada. After a few years they realized there was a great need for browser-based cloud software for the flooring and home improvement industries. Thus, QPro was created and has been helping businesses ever since.
QPro Software's business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (Mountain Time). We also offer emergency services from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and 6:30am to 8:00am. Please see our contact us page for holiday closures and contact information.
Yes. With QPro, you can easily see, in real time, materials that are in stock, what has been reserved for future jobs, which materials need to be ordered, and what is being delivered. Right as you fill out the sales order, you can see how much of each product you have in stock, and whether it has already been reserved for other jobs or not. So you always know exactly what is available, and what you need to order. Customer service is improved, because you have a more accurate idea of timeframes for installation. You'll not only be more organized, but you'll have the peace of mind that your inventory is correct, up-to-date, and not double-booked.

Yes. QPro software can help you manage tile, wood, LVP, LVT, stone, carpet, and more. Unlike generic off-the-shelf accounting software, it uses flooring specific measurements such as square feet, square yards, linear feet, etc.
QPro tracks and handles sales and use tax, commissions, installer billing, California CARE tax, and offers instant, real-time job costing right on the invoice screen.
In addition, for those who desire it, QPro has an advanced integration with QuickBooks Online™*. Because of this, you can easily transfer payment, sales, and deposit information, as well as period ending journal entries into QuickBooks Online from QPro.
QPro can also produce accurate financial reports, which can be used with off-the-shelf accounting software (ie: QuickBooks Pro™) if you like, so you can have precise Sales and Cost of Goods information. QPro can produce a journal entry report that can be recorded into your off-the-shelf accounting software at the end of each period to ensure the accuracy of your numbers. QPro floor covering software makes it easy to see how much money you're going to make on each flooring job. A job costing window will populate on the screen when you're filling out a sales order or invoice. You'll be able to instantly see freight costs, commissions, gross profit before and after commissions, and other important numbers, which are calculated with integrated retail markup formulas.
You'll be able to know how profitable a job will be before printing out a customer proposal. And if a customer is negotiating the price, you can change the pricing options in the job costing window to see what the new profit would be. With QPro, you don't have to worry about finding out too late that you lost money on a sale!

Request custom demoThe term “cloud software” gets thrown around a lot these days. In a nutshell, cloud software refers to software programs you can access via the internet, with your data securely stored remotely. A cloud ERP software refers to Enterprise Resource Planning, or in other words, complete business management programs, that are accessed via the internet. There are a lot of different types of ERP cloud models out there that vary dramatically in the technologies they use, the cost, look and feel, overall user experience, and the ability to integrate with third-party applications. However, we designed QPro in a way that scores high on all of those categories. From the get-go, QPro was created to run in an internet browser on the cloud. It uses the newest cloud technologies out there, unlike other cloud applications that were originally designed to run as hardware or a downloadable software application, and were retrofitted for internet access.
There are many benefits to using browser-based cloud software for your business. You'll save a ton of money on IT and maintenance costs, your data will be better protected, and you'll have greater flexibility with the software as a whole.
